Hey up folks

This one I took today, on a walk up towards Highgate Woods in north London. I like the wooden gate. And, indeed, the hedge behind it.

Thanks to KJ for being the first person to comment on my new 27 Blog. Glad you like it!

And, of course, if anyone spots anything with the number 27 on it wherever you are - take a picture, email it to me (click on 'email me' by the links) and I'll stick it up on the internet's home for the number 27.

Particularly like the triple 27 action on this one!

This is a chap in Virgin Megastore in Time Square, New York City checking out listening post 27. I'm not exactly sure what'son post 27, but post 26 is the rather marvellous Franz Ferdinand, a British band who were just starting to take the US by storm at this point.

I like the way the bloke looks so relaxed - looks like he might stay and check out the whole album!

Argentina went on to win the gold medal.

One of the most amazing places I've ever watched a gig from. That's my brother with the blue backpack, and his girlfriend Beccy.

Actually, did you know that a very famous type of cloth comes from Nimes. Cloth de Nimes they used to call it. These days most people call it denim. True story!!

Welcome to my new blog, which will give me somewhere to put all the pictures of 27 I've taken over the years. If you're reading this, you're probably one of the very first people to stumble across this blog. I hope you like it!

I like the number 27, not out of superstition or anything, probably just because I was born on the 27th.

As I travel about, I take pictures of 27s. So here's some of them. This one was on a street in downtown San Francisco.
